Scope of Work Services

The following scope of work services list can be reduced and / or added according to the service specifications required by the company.

Our company charges fees based on negotiations by adjusting fees to the scope of services needed by the company and the level of complex it of the assignment. For example, services for manufacturing must be more complex rather than services for service provider company. The prices listed below are not fixed prices because they can still be negotiated based on merging prices between assignments. Kindly inform us for any comments, information and inquiries.

TAX ADVISORY AND SERVICE

Upon request, KPI Consultant shall provide advice related to tax issues faced by the Company. The advice might be in the form of written reports, messages via email, answers by telephone or meetings.

A. CORPORATE INCOME TAX RETURN

  1. Provide the official request letter of data, document and information for Corporate Income
    Tax Return (CITR) purposes;
  2. Conduct initial interviews and discussion for tax profiling proposes;
  3. Recapitulate Income Tax Article 25/29 payment slip for tax credit purposes;
  4. Identify the associated or related parties of the Company;
  5. Prepare reconciliation report for Sales Account considering the Financial Statement or General Ledger and VAT Basis data;
  6. Prepare reconciliation report for Purchase Account considering the WHT Article 22 Basis data;
  7. Prepare Identify report of Operating Expenses;
  8. Prepare examines report for the calculation of fixed assets depreciation base on Fiscal implementation;
  9. Prepare return loss compensation calculation;
  10. Prepare examines report for all CITR attachment;
  11. Prepare and Review tax credit recapitulation;
  12. Prepare and Review fiscal correction;
  13. Prepare Fiscal Financial Statements;
  14. Prepare CIT calculation working paper and reports;
  15. Conduct discussion meeting for Final Draft;
  16. Prepare ID Billing for tax payment purpose
  17. Prepare Corporate Income Tax Report;
  18. Submit Corporate Income Tax Report;

B. INDIVIDUAL INCOME TAX RETURN

  1. Collect data and document;
    1. Send the template related to the filing of Individual Income Tax Return Information Request (employee status, salary, WHT Art. 21 Slip 1721 A1,etc).
    2. Collect Individual Income Tax Return Data
  2. Prepare working paper of Individual Income Tax Return
  3. Prepare ID Billing for tax payment purpose
  4. Prepare Individual Income Tax Return;
  5. Submit Individual Income Tax Return.

C. MONTHLY TAX COMPLIANCE SERVICES

  1. Income Tax Article21
    a. Analyze the tax object based on the interviews and discussions with the clients;
    b. Reconcile and Identify Income Tax Article 21 object based on Financial Statements and General Ledger;
    c. Calculate Income Tax Article 21 shall be paid for respective fiscal period;
    d. Provide ID Billing for tax payment purposes;
    e. Prepare the Income Tax Article 21Report;
    f. Submit the Income Tax Article 21Report;
    g. Provide advice related to Income Tax Article21.
  2. Income Tax Article23
    a. Analyze the tax object based on the interviews and discussions with the clients;
    b. Reconcile and Identify Income Tax Article 23 object based on Financial Statements and General Ledger;
    c. Calculate Income Tax Article 23 shall be paid for respective fiscal period;
    d. Provide ID Billing for tax payment purposes;
    e. Prepare the Income Tax Article 23 Report;
    f. Submit the Income Tax Article 23 Report;
    g. Provide advice related to Income Tax Article 23.
  3. Income Tax Article 4 (2)
    a. Analyze the tax object based on the interviews and discussions with the clients;
    b. Reconcile and Identify Income Tax Article 4 (2) object based on Financial Statements and General Ledger;
    c. Calculate Income Tax Article 4 (2) shall be paid for respective fiscal period;
    d. Provide ID Billing for tax payment purposes
    e. Prepare the Income Tax Article 4 (2) Report;
    f. Submit the Income Tax Article 4 (2) Report;
    g. Provide advice related to Income Tax Article 4 (2).
  4. Income Tax Article 26
    a. Analyze the tax object based on the interviews and discussions with the clients;
    b. Reconcile and Identify Income Tax Article 26 object based on Financial Statements and General Ledger;
    c. Review the DGT Form and Tax Treaty as required;
    d. Calculate Income Tax Article 26 shall be paid for respective fiscal period;
    e. Provide ID Billing for tax payment purposes;
    f. Prepare the Income Tax Article 26 Report;
    g. Submit the Income Tax Article 26 Report;
    h. Provide advice related to Income Tax Article 26.
  5. Income Tax Final (Government Regulation No. 23 Year 2018)
    a. Analyze the tax object based on the interviews and discussions with the clients;
    b. Reconcile and Identify Income Tax Final object based on Financial Statements and General Ledger;
    c. Calculate Income Tax Final shall be paid for respective fiscal period;
    d. Provide ID Billing for tax payment purposes;
    e. Prepare the Income Tax Final Report;
    f. Submit the Income Tax Final Report;
    g. Provide advice related to Income Tax Final (Government Regulation No.23 Year 2018).
  6. Value Added Tax (VAT)
    a. Conduct interviews and discussions with client related to the preliminary description of preparation of monthly VAT Returns;
    b. Recapitulate Export Declaration shall be reported in VAT Return;
    c. Recapitulate VAT Out shall be reported in VAT Return
    d. Recapitulate Import Declaration shall be reported in VAT Return;
    e. Recapitulate VAT In shall be reported in VAT Return;
    f. Reconcile and Identify VAT Object based on Financial Statements and General Ledger;
    g. Calculate VAT shall be paid or compensated for respective fiscal period;
    h. Provide ID Billing for tax payment purposes;
    i. Prepare the VAT Report;
    j. Submit the VAT Report;
    k. Provide advice related to VAT.

D. Tax Audit Assistance Service

  1. Respond to Tax Auditor queries as well as represent the Company in presentation of statement, data and analysis to Tax Auditor.
  2. Assist On-site visit performed by Tax Auditor and respond to their queries during the observation.
  3. Provide opinion and advice to the Company’s management and staff with regard to the Company’s position.
  4. Assist in analysis of data, information, book and accounting record related to the tax perspective as required by Tax Auditor.
  5. Perform reconciliation and discussion with tax auditor regarding their findings.
  6. Prepare respond letter related to Official Notice of Tax Audit Result and provide the explanation of details respond letter to Company.
  7. Represent the Company in closing conference as well as defend the Company’s position as outlined in respond letter to Official Notice of Tax Audit Result.
  8. Provide advice and recommendation to the company, based on closing conference, whether to propose consideration of audit result by Quality Assurance Team as well as to file tax objection whenever disputes have not been resolved yet.
  9. Communicate and coordinate with the company’s management with regard to performance of tax audit assistance services.
  10. Provide Tax Audit Summary report to Company that contains of tax audit activities record and advice to tax obligation improvement after Tax Assessment Letter received by Company.

E. TAX DIAGNOSTIC REVIEW

  1. Review Income Tax Article 21:
    a. Conduct interviews and discussions with clients related a preliminary description preparation of Income Tax Returns Art.21;
    b. Identify objects Income Tax Art. 21 based on financial statements and General Ledger;
    c. Review the calculation of Income Tax Payable Art.21;
    d. Recapitulate the payment and reporting of Income Tax Art.21;
    e. Create reports of potential tax of Income Tax Art.21;
  2. Review Income Tax Article 23:
    a. Conduct interviews and discussions with clients related a preliminary description preparation of Income Tax Returns Art.23;
    b. Identify objects Income Tax Art.23 based on financial statements and General Ledger;
    c. Review the calculation of Income Tax Payable Art.23;
    d. Recapitulate the payment and reporting of Art.23 (monthly tax returns and tax payment slip) for the company’s head office and each branches; and
    e. Create reports of potential tax of Income Tax Art.23;
  3. Review Income Tax Article 4 Paragraph 2:
    a. Conduct interviews and discussions with clients related a preliminary description preparation of Income Tax Returns Art. 4 Paragraph 2;
    b. Identify objects income tax Art. 4 Paragraph 2 based on financial statements and General Ledger;
    c. Review the calculation of income tax payable Art. 4 Paragraph 2;
    d. Recapitulate the payment and reporting of Art.4 Paragraph 2 (monthly tax returns and tax payment slip) for the company’s head office and branches; and
    e. Create reports of potential tax of income tax Art. 4 Paragraph 2.
  4. Review Installment Tax Article 25:
    a. Review the calculation of the monthly Installment of Income Tax Art. 25 in accordance to the regulations;
    b. Prepare e-billing Income Tax Art.25;
    c. Report the payment of Income Tax Art. 25 to Tax Office where the Company is registered; and
    d. Create reports and recalculate of potential Art.25 Tax Installment.
  5. Review Income tax Article 26:
    a. Conduct interviews and discussions with clients related a preliminary description preparation of Income Tax Art.26;
    b. Identify objects Income Tax Art. 26 based on financial statements and General Ledger;
    c. Review the calculation of Income Tax Art.26;
    d. Recapitulate the payment and reporting of Income Tax Art.26 (monthly tax returns and tax payment slip) for the company’s head office and branches and
    e. Create reports of potential tax of Income Tax Art.26.
  6. Review of Income Tax Article15:
    a. Conduct interviews and discussions with clients related preparation of Income Tax Returns Art.15;
    b. Identify objects Income Tax Art. 15 based on the financial statements / general ledger account Withholding Tax
    c. Review the calculation of Income Tax Payable of Art. 15 and
    d. Create reports of potential tax of Income Tax Art.15.
  7. Review the Value Added Tax(VAT):
    a. Conduct interviews with clients related preliminary description of the preparation of VAT monthly tax returns;
    b. Recapitulate payment and reporting of VAT (monthly tax returns and tax payment slip) for the company’s head office and branches;
    c. Recapitulate output VAT reported in VAT monthly tax returns;
    d. Recapitulate export declaration reported in VAT monthly tax returns;
    e. Recapitulate input VAT reported in VAT monthly tax returns;
    f. Recapitulate related Import declaration reported in VAT monthly tax returns;
    g. Review the calculation of potential underpayment of VAT according to the research;
    h. Make summaries and research reports potential of VAT (of potential VAT); and
    i. Create reports of potential tax of VAT.
  8. Review the Corporate Income Tax:
    a. Review annual corporate income tax return (does not include the financial statement of the company);
    b. Review the payment and reporting of Income Tax Art.25 / 29 recapitulation (monthly tax returns and tax payment slip) in the agreed fiscal year;
    c. Conduct initial interviews with the Company to determine the formulation policy of the general description of annual corporate income tax;
    d. Review the associated parties of the Company;
    e. Review reconciliation of sales by performing equalization of sales in annual corporate income tax returns and financial statements (audit report);
    f. Review reconciliation of sales by performing equalization of between sales in annual corporate income tax returns and the general ledger;
    g. Review purchase reconciliation by performing equalization of Corporate Income Tax Returns and financial statements (audit report);
    h. Review purchase reconciliation of Annual Corporate Income Tax Returns and Income Tax Credit Art. 22
    i. Review operating expense concerning Annual Corporate Income Tax Returns;
    j. Review the calculation of depreciation fixed assets based on fiscal;
    k. Review the calculation of returns loss compensation;
    l. Review and examine each of attachments of Annual Corporate Income Tax Returns;
    m. Review reconciliation between operating expenses in Annual Corporate Income Tax Returns and operating expense in the financial statements (audit report)
    n. Review reconciliation between operating expenses in Annual Corporate Income Tax Returns and general ledger;
    o. Review reconciliation between other income (expense) financial statements (audit report);
    p. Review reconciliation between other income (expense) and the general ledger;
    q. Review Income Tax Art. 25 credit recapitulation;
    r. Review Income Tax Art. 22 credit recapitulation;
    s. Review Income Tax Art. 23 credit recapitulation;
    t. Revouch existence and validity of tax credit from corporate income tax;
    u. Review deductible / non-deductible expense related to cost of goods sold and operating expenses and other expenses;
    v. Review recapitulation of fiscal correction;
    w. Review fiscal financial reports;
    x. Review the calculation of the taxable income and calculate the amount of payable income tax fiscal;
    y. Review the calculation of underpaid, overpaid, or nil Income Tax Art.29;
    z. Prepare conclusions and calculations of potential under payment of corporate income tax

F. Tax Administration

This is a service for assisting your company in handling tax administration effectively and efficiently. This service covers, among others, registration and revocation of Tax ID Number (Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak / NPWP) and/or VAT-Registered Person Confirmation Number (Nomor Pengukuhan Pengusaha Kena Pajak / NPPKP), application for overbooking to the Tax Authority, application for book keeping in a foreign language and currency, application for centralization of VAT administration, application for a tax clearance and etc.

Payroll Management

This service is in the form of calculating the salary received by employees, including the calculation of BPJS for Employment and Health, and Employee Income Tax

INTERNAL AUDITOR

Objectives and Scope of the Audit

You have asked us to audit the financial statements of hereinafter referred to as “the Company”, which consists of a statement of financial position and statements of comprehensive income, statement of changes in equity, and cash flow statement for the year ended on that date. We would like to confirm our acceptance and understanding of the audit engagement through this letter. Our audits are conducted for the purpose of expressing an opinion on these financial statements.

Auditor’s Responsibilities

We will carry out audits with the Professional Code of Ethics and plan and carry out audits in order to obtain reasonable assurance that the financial statements are free from material misstatement. An audit includes examining, on a test basis, evidence supporting the amounts and disclosures in the financial statements. The procedure chosen is subject to the auditor’s judgment, including an assessment of the risks of material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error. An audit also includes assessing the appropriateness of the accounting policies used and the appropriateness of significant estimates made by management, as well as evaluating the presentation of the financial statements. Because of the inherent limitations of an audit, together with the inherent limitations of internal control, there is an unavoidable risk of not detecting material misstatements, even if the audit has been planned and performed in accordance. In conducting risk assessments, we consider internal control relevant to the preparation of the entity’s financial statements in order to design audit procedures that are appropriate in the circumstances concerned, but do not aim to state opinion on the effectiveness of the entity’s internal control. However, we will communicate in writing significant deficiencies in internal control that are relevant to the audit of financial statements, which we have identified in conducting the audit.

Assistance and Cooperation of Company Personnel

We will conduct audits on the basis that management acknowledges and
understands that they are responsible for:

  1. Preparation and presentation of financial statements
  2. Internal control deemed necessary by management to prepare financial statements that are free from material misstatement, either due to fraud or error; and
  3. Provide us:
  4. ✓ Access to all information that management that the information is relevant in the preparation of financial statements, such as records, documentation and other matters;
    ✓ Additional information we may request from management for audit purposes;
    ✓ Unrestricted access to individuals within the entities we consider necessaryto obtain audit evidence.

    As part of the audit process, we receive written confirmation from management
    and, where applicable, those charged with governance about the representations
    made in connection with the audit.
    We expect the full cooperation of your staff during the audit process from us, and
    we are sure that they will provide records, documentation, and other information
    that we need in the context of our audit.

Reporting

For the preparation of Financial Statements that provide a true and fair regarding
the formulation of an opinion and reporting on financial statements. The form and
content of our reports may need to be changed according to our audit findings.
